The GrowGreen center will provide communities with local food and energy by combining a hydroponic greenhouse with a solar thermal / biomass power plant. The $250 million GrowGreen North Carolina project integrates a 100 acre greenhouse with a 40 megawatt (MW) co-generation power plant.
